Whether you're looking for an outstanding family vehicle or an elegant, high-quality car to commute to work in, the Nissan SE-R Sedan is a solid choice.

Available Models
In the mix for 2002 are two stellar models - the Nissan SE-R Sedan base model and Nissan SE-R Spec V Sedan. The main differences between the two models lie in their performance specifications.

Interior Features
Each Nissan SE-R Sedan boasts air conditioning, tilt steering, premium AM/FM stereo with CD player and seven speakers, eight-way adjustable driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather-wrapped manual gearshift knob. Among its conveniences are power windows, power door locks, cruise control, battery saver, map lights, rear floor heated ducts, and 60/40 split folding rear seat for extra cargo.

The SE-R Sedan spruces things up with front sport bucket seats, lava-color sport seat cloth and interior trim, and a unique Spec V manual gearshift knob.

Exterior Feature
Emphasizing the attractive appearance of the elegant Nissan SE-R Sedan are sixteen-inch six-spoke aluminum alloy wheels and tires, lower-body side sill extensions, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tip finishers, front fog lights, and dual power body-color outside mirrors and body-color door handles.

Performance
In the performance department, the SE-R Sedan base model packs a 2.5-litre, DOHC, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine with continuously variable valve timing control. The pleasant result is an impressive 165 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Each vehicle is equipped with platinum-tipped spark plugs, a variable intake system, front-wheel drive, sport-tuned transmission, and five-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission is available as an option.

Moving up to the Nissan SE-R Spec V Sedan, performance specifications include a 2.5-litre, DOHC, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine with an output of 175 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. The transmission on this model is a fun, quick-shifting six-speed manual.

Safety and Security
Every Nissan SE-R Sedan is equipped with standard safety features that include three-point seatbelts for outboard passengers, child safety locks, child seat tethers and anchors, a driver depowered air bag, and passenger depowered air bag. The vehicle has been designed to withstand impacts with steel pipe-style side impact door beams, front and rear crumple zones, and an energy-absorbing steering column.
