black chrome headlight surround, rear privacy glass, body-color
front bumper and fender flares, and a sliding rear window.
Performance
In the performance department, both the standard
Frontier and Frontier SE are equipped with a 2.4-litre,
DOHC, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine that produces 143 horsepower
and 154 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is five-speed
manual, with four-speed automatic with overdrive available
as an option.
XE V6 and SE V6 models turn up the volume with a 3.3-litre,
SOHC, 12-valve six-cylinder engine with an output of 170
horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Each vehicle features
a four-wheel drive system with auto-locking brakes. The
Frontier XE V6 comes with standard five-speed manual transmission
and limited slip differential, while the Frontier SE V6
has four-speed automatic with overdrive.
For maximum power, the Frontier S/C King Cab headlines
a SuperCharged 3.3-litre, SOHC, 12-valve six-cylinder engine,
this time cranking out 210 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque.
It comes with a standard five-speed manual transmission,
limited slip differential, a sport-tuned suspension, and
four-wheel drive.
Safety and Security
No matter which of these outstanding models you
choose, each Frontier King Cab packs safety standards that
include dual depowered front air bags with passenger air
bag cut-off switch, three-point front seatbelts, two-point
rear seatbelts, front crumple zones, hood buckling creases,
and side impact door beams. The SE V6 and S/C models sport
fog lights, and all top three models feature four-wheel
ABS brakes for maximum control.
