Every Jetta Sedan is graced with interior features
like CFC-free air conditioning, two folding keys, valet
key, automatic door locking feature, power door locks with
central power locking system, chrome interior door handles,
60/40 split folding rear seat for extra cargo space, AM/FM
stereo with cassette player, and a four-spoke padded steering
wheel.
Among the features of some of the upper end models are
heated front seat, power windows, eight-way power driver's
and passenger's seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel with
cruise and audio controls, supple leather upholstery, premium

Performance
The entry-level VW Jetta GL 2.0L Sedan and GLS
2.0 Sedan are built with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine
that produces 115 horsepower and 122 lb-ft of torque. The
standard transmission is five-speed manual, with optional
four-speed automatic transmission available as an option.
The Jetta GL TDI Sedan and GLS TDI Sedan are equipped with
a 1.9-litre, turbo-charged four-cylinder engine that produces
90 horsepower and 149 lb-ft of torque. The Jetta GLS 1.8T
Sedan packs a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-charged engine
that pumps out 180 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. And
finally, the Jetta GLS VR6 Sedan and GLX VR6 Sedan feature
a 2.8-litre, six-cylinder engine that cranks out 174 horsepower
and 180 lb-ft of torque.
Safety and Security
Every Jetta Sedan is equipped with an immobilizer
theft deterrent system, and the top five models come with
a remote keyless entry system. Standard safety features
on all models continues with side impact door beams, front
and rear crumple zones, driver air bag, passenger air bag,
side impact air bags, three-point seatbelts at all seating
positions, child safety locks, child seat tethers and anchors,
and ABS brakes.
