Available Models
Two main models are available for 2002 - VW Eurovan GLS and VW Eurovan MV. A Eurovan Camper version is also offered for comfortable overnight excursions.

Interior Features
Beginning with the 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan GLS, the well-appointed and spacious interior highlights such standards as automatic dual-zone air conditioning with separate rear controls for A/C and heat, speed adjustable cruise control, side entrance step illumination, valet key, and central power locking system. Other standards include driver and front passenger illuminated visor vanity mirrors, a premium AM/FM cassette player with six speakers, four-spoke padded steering wheel, and power windows.

The Weekender Package comes with front and rear privacy curtains and pleated window shades, two screened windows, gas refrigerator, beverage tray, cab storage tie-downs, full-size bed for two in pop-up roof that extends upwards to make seven feet of floor-to-ceiling room. As well, this model includes a stainless steel sink and countertop, top bunk bedboard storage, two dining/utility tables, and a two-burner gas stove with stainless steel splatter shield. Neat!

Exterior Features
The aerodynamic lines of the Eurovan are enhanced with body-colored bumpers, black door handles, dark tinted rear half privacy glass, body color grille with center logo, body color mirror housings, heated dual power outside mirrors, front fog lights, and heated windshield washer nozzles.

Performance
The Volkswagen Eurovan packs an impressive 2.8-litre, six-cylinder engine that pumps out 201 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. It features sixteen-inch brakes, gas struts in the engine compartment, power assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and four-speed adaptive automatic transmission with automatic shift lock.

Providing a smooth and responsive ride are an independent front torsion bar suspension and independent rear suspension with anti-slip regulation and electronic stabilization program.

Safety and Security
Each Eurovan is bolstered with safety standards such as ABS brakes, electronic differential lock, side impact door beams, driver air bag, passenger air bag, third row child seat tethers and anchors, and three-point outboard seating position seatbelts.
