Visit Dodge for more information on the Dodge Grand Caravan.

In addition to the fine Caravan, Dodge also offers up the Grand Caravan - a wonderfully powerful vehicle that absolutely loads on the luxuries and extras in every way. Its extended wheelbase allows for plenty of interior passenger and cargo space, making it an incredibly versatile vehicle for families and people on the go.

Available Models
In the line up for 2002 are the Grand Caravan SE, Grand Caravan Sport, Grand Caravan ES, Grand Caravan Sport AWD, and Grand Caravan ES AWD. Each vehicle builds on the previous.

Interior Features
Among the standards at the entry level are air conditioning, speed control, power door locks, defroster, power windows, cloth seat trim, and an AM/FM stereo with CD changer. Options and packages include adjustable pedals, a handy cargo organizer, three-zone climate control, and a roof rack.

Grand Caravan Sport features three-zone climate control with air filter, overhead console, remote keyless entry system, deluxe cloth seat trim, and six speakers for the sound system.

The ES model comes with automatic three-zone climate control, center console, HomeLink transceiver, lumbar support, eight-way power driver's seat, and ten speakers.

Exterior Features
The Grand Caravan SE and Sport have a manual driver's side sliding door, with a power driver's side sliding door optional on the Sport model. The Grand Caravan ES features both a power driver's die sliding door and a power passenger's side sliding door, and optional seventeen-inch aluminum wheels. All models come with dual power outside mirrors.

Performance
Under the hood of each Dodge Grand Caravan SE and Sport is an impressive 3.3-litre six-cylinder engine with a responsive four-speed automatic transmission. Up another level, the Grand Caravan ES boasts a 3.8-litre engine with four-speed automatic transmission and optional four-speed AutoStick transmission.

Both the Grand Caravan Sport AWD and Grand Caravan ES AWD take their existing performance packages and add the extra control and power of four-wheel all-wheel drive for superior handling on challenging terrain and in inclement weather.

Safety and Security
Every Grand Caravan model is equipped with a lengthy collection of safety standards that includes a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, three-point seatbelts, child safety locks in the rear, and rear child seat tethers and anchors. As well, they are built with side impact door beams and a strong safety cage. Side impact air bags are an option on all models.
