The 2005 Buick LeSabre is an important model for this company,
a top-seller for over 11 years and one of the best-selling
full-size sedans in the US market. It is one of America's
favourite cars and its iconic lines are the everywhere on
the highways of America. To maintain this great success,
Buick has outfitted this year's LeSabre with generous standards
inside and out and a whole collection of good options.
Available Models
The 2005 Buick LeSabre is offered in Limited, Custom and
Celebration Edition models. The special Celebration Edition,
has all the features of the LeSabre Limited plus a unique
exterior and interior trim, additional equipment and special
paint.
Interior Features
The Buick LeSabre is a spacious four-door sedan capable
of seating six. In 2004 the LeSabre was given enhanced acoustic
material in the doors, quarter panels and trunk areas, which
it kept. Combined with the StabiliTrak traction control
system and the Gran Touring Suspension, the ride is luxurious
and quiet. This luxury then becomes significantly enhanced
by air conditioning, cruise control and 8-way power driver
seat, power mirrors, windows and door locks, remote keyless
entry and AM/FM/CD audio and the OnStar assistance system
with one-year of service included. The Limited adds automatic
dual-zone climate control, leather-upholstery, heated front
seats, moisture-sensing wipers, and much more.
Exterior Features
The 2005 LeSabre features the usual great lines but this
year the Celebration Edition has unique 16-inch wheels and
outside mirrors with turn-signal lights, aerodynamic body
panels and chrome alloy wheels take the exterior even further.
Performance
Like the Park Avenue, the 2005 Buick LeSabre doesn't mess
around when it come to performance features. The 3.8-liter
Series II V6 engine has 205 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 230
lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm and is coupled with a 4-speed
automatic transmission that offers 20 and 29 mpg (city/hwy).
Standard antilock brakes for all trim levels and traction
control on the Limited help keep a rein on the ample power.
Gran Touring suspension gives the LeSabre a sporty, stable
ride at all speeds, while power rack-and-pinion steering
lets you handle the sedan with hardly any effort at all.
With the Celebration Edition you also get StabiliTrak, an
advanced integrated vehicle stability control system that
helps the driver maintain control in a skid or slide.
Safety and Security
The 2005 Buick LeSabre doesn't mess around with occupant
safety, with standards such as the aforementioned antilock
disc brakes, Gran Touring suspension, battery rundown protection
and a full collection of airbags.
