- Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan and Buick LeSabre Limited Sedan.
The key differences between these models lie in the luxury
department, where you can pick and choose form a variety
of options and packages. Some of the packages offered include
a Five-Passenger Convenience Console Package, Gran Touring
package, and Driver Confidence Package.
Interior Features
Each 2002 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan starts us
off with single zone air conditioning with available air
filter, an AM/FM stereo and cassette player with four speakers,
overhead console, power door locks, power windows, front
bench seat, cruise control, and a storage drawer in the
center instrument panel.
The
2002 Buick LeSabre Limited Sedan tags on dual zone climate
control with rear seat outlet and air filtration system,
rear seat fold-down armrest with dual cup holders and trunk
pass-through, anti-theft AM/FM cassette and CD player with
six speakers, driver information center, full analog cluster,
and leather upholstery.
This model also boasts ten-way power driver and front passenger
seats with power recliners, heated front seats, steering
wheel-mounted audio controls, trunk cargo net, and a universal
transceiver for garage door openers and house lights. There
are also memory features for driver seat adjustments, outside
mirrors, climate control, and radio presets.
Exterior Features
The handsome 2002 Buick LeSabre Sedan sport dual
power outside mirrors ( with electrochromic auto-dimming
feature on the Limited models), color-keyed body side moldings,
tinted glass, all-season blackwall steel-belted radial tires,
and fifteen-inch steel wheels with deluxe wheel covers (multi-spoke
aluminum on the Limited). The LeSabre Limited Sedan also
adds body side accent stripes and an available power sunroof
with tilt-and-slide feature and sunshade.
Performance
Both of the 2002 Buick LeSabre Sedan models are
equipped with a substantial 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine
that cranks out 205 horsepower and 230 lb-ft of torque.
The fuel economy rating checks in at 20/29 mpg (city/hwy)
for the standard four-speed electronically controlled automatic
transmission with overdrive. Each vehicle is built with
front-wheel drive, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, stainless
steel exhaust system, dual-note horn, four-wheel independent
suspension with automatic rear level control, and power-assisted
rack-and-pinion steering.
Adding to the performance specifications for the Buick
LeSabre Limited Sedan are a tire inflation monitor and full-range
traction control (both available on the Custom model).
Safety and Security
In the safety department, the Buick LeSabre Sedan
packs upper child seat anchors, child safety locks, one-year
OnStar safety and security package, three-point seatbelts
at all outboard seating positions, center rear lapbelt,
