The 2003 Mazda Tribute is a compact SUV, which comes in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Like many of its competitors, the Tribute is built with unibody construction. The DX comes with 5-speed manual transmission, and the LX and ES come with automatic transmission. All models are available in either 2-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and feature a dashboard switch to lock the vehicle in a 50/50 front-rear torque split.

Safety and Security
The ES model of the Mazda Tribute now come equipped with anti-lock brakes as a standard feature. Both the LX and ES are equipped with fog lights, and all three Tribute models offer an alarm system as an option. Dual front airbags are standard on all models.
