Visit Cadillac for more information on the Cadillac DeVille.

Cadillac's largest car blends tradition with high-tech gadgetry. The DeVille has more than fifty years of history at its back, and it uses this as the foundation for its new, breakthrough advances in technology. With such features as Night Vision, new heated and cooled seats and the acclaimed Northstar engine, this full-size sedan offers more than just a smooth ride.

2004 also marks the introduction of a new armored DeVille model. In the post 9/11 world, the demand for higher levels of security have been great, and Cadillac offers this new model to meet those demands. With bulletproof glass, a special run-flat tire system and a self-sealing fuel tank, this new DeVille is easily the safest one ever.

Available Models
The 2004 Cadillac DeVille is offered in three trims-base, DHS and DTS-plus the new armored version.

Interior Features
The four-door 2004 Cadillac DeVille, being the biggest car offered by Cadillac, is extremely roomy, to say the least. It can seat six passenger if need be, and not one of them will complain about lack of space.

The new heated and cooled front seats are standard on the DHS and DTS and optional on the base model. The system has three levels each of cooling, full-seat heating and back-only heating, making the DeVille the first vehicle with cooled seats that has the ability to heat only the seatbacks. Also thrown into this package is a heated steering wheel for cold winter days.

The usual laundry list of standard luxury features are offered-air conditioning with tri-zone automatic climate controls, leather upholstery, the OnStar system-plus a few options. XM satellite radio tops this list.

Exterior Features
The 2004 Cadillac DeVille maintains the clean, long lines of last year's design. However, it does debut three new exterior colors for 2004: White Lightning, Blue Ice and Light Platinum.

Performance
Base and DHS models are equipped with a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine with 275 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 300 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. The top-line DTS has a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 with 300 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm. 4-speed automatic transmission is standard.

DTS models also come with StabiliTrak, Cadillac's world-class stability-control system (optional on other models) and continuously variable road-sensing suspension.

Safety and Security
Night Vision is a new option with the 2004 Cadillac DeVille. It is the first automotive use of thermal-imaging technology, letting drivers see objects beyond headlight range during nighttime driving. Full-range traction control, 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, dual front airbags and front side airbags are all standard.
