The Buick Lucerne returns for 2009 complete with more standard equipement and a new flexfuel engine ensuring it will be one of the most popular full size sedans on the market.

Available Models
Three models of the Lucerne are available for 2009 - the 2009 Buick Lucerne CX, CXL and the Lucerne Super.

Two packages are available to customize the Lucerne : the Driver Confidence Package which adds StabiliTrak, remote start, rain sense wipers, rear parking assist and a theft deterrent package - this package is available on the CXL and CX models and comes standard on the Super. The second package is the Comfort and Convenience package which adds dual zone, automatic climate control, cargo net and universal remote.

Interior Features
The Buick Lucerne seats five comfortably - the interior is spacious and the craftsmanship is apparent. Bluetooth for Phone is standard on all models and allows hand free telephone calling.

Exterior Features
An outside mirror with integrated turn signal is standard on the CXL and Super. For 2009 three new exterior body colors have been introduced - Mystic Sapphire Tricoat, Cyber Gray Metallic and Quicksilver Metallic.

Performance
Two engines are available on the 2009 Buick Lucerne powering the CXL and the CX models is a 3.9L V6 engine delivering 227 horsepower - that's an increase of 30 horsepower over the previous year's V6 model, the engine is also FlexFuel capable. Standard on the Lucerne Super is a 292 horsepower 4.6L Northstar V8 engine.

Safety and Security
