out seems to be one of them.
Available Models
Three models are available for 2009 - the Jeep Wrangler
X, Wrangler Sahara, and the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
Interior Features
New features for the interior of the 2009 Jeep Wrangler
are an added storage net to the lower center stack and the
center console has an added drop-in bin. The Jeep Wrangler
seats 4 and when extra room is needed the rear seats fold-and-tumble
feature creating 61.2 cu. ft. of cargo room.
Standard on all models is a six speaker AM/FM stereo radio
with CD player and MP3/WMA auxiliary input jack. There is
also an available uconnect gps, six-disc stereo, MP3 player
and SIRIUS Satelite Radio.
Exterior Features
The look of the Wrangler definitely stays true to its heritage
- classic round headlamps, body colored seven slot grille,
fold down windshield and removable tops are all present.
The wrangler comes standard with the Sunrider® soft
top. A three piece modular hard top called Freedom Top®
is available for the Wrangler - it has three removable panels
allowing for numerous open-air options.
New exterior colors for the 2009 Jeep Wrangler are Sunburst
Orange Pearl Coat and Deep Water Blue Pearl Coat.
Performance
Standard on all models is a 3.8L v6 with 202 horsepower
and 237 lb.-ft. torque. All models come standard with a
manual 6-speed transmission with a four speed automatic
transmission available as an option. Wrangler X and Sahara
models come standard with the Command-Trac® shift-on-the-fly
transfer case - while the Rubicon comes with the Rock-Trac®
heavy-duty transfer case with 4:1 low range.
Safety and Security
Standard safety equipment include Electronic Roll Mitigation
(ERM), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist,
advanced multi-stage driver and front-passenger air bags,
brake assist, brake lock differentials, traction control,
tire pressure monitoring system and much more.
