Several models are in the line up for 2002 and
offer a broad spectrum of features, including Tundra Regular
Cab 4x2, Tundra V8 Regular Cab SR5 4x4, and Tundra Access
Cab SR5, V8 Access Cab Limited.
Interior Features
Beginning with the Tundra Regular Cab 4x2 model,
standards include a fabric bench seat with vertically adjustable
headrests and fold down center armrest, cut-pile carpeting,
dual cup holders, driver and passenger sun visors, and a
digital quartz clock.
Inside the comfortable interior of the Tundra V8 Regular
Cab SR5 4x4 there are additions like cruise control, tilt
steering wheel, deluxe AM/FM ETR/Cassette with four speakers,
defrosted CFC-free air conditioning, and driver and passenger
dual sun visors with vanity mirrors and extensions.
The Tundra Access Cab SR5 adds a front fabric 60/40 split
split bench seat, tilt-out rear quarter windows with privacy
glass, vertically adjustable headrests, and a fold down
center console armrest with dual cup holders on the automatic
models.
Tundra V8 Access Cab Limited takes it further with a premium
AM/FM stereo with cassette player and CD player with six-CD
in-dash changer, power windows, power door locks, and a

Exterior Features
Basic fare on the Tundra Regular Cab 4x2 lists
aerodynamic multi-reflector halogen head lights with auto-off
feature, dual black outside mirrors, eight-foot bed, painted
front and rear bumpers and grille, rear center high-mount
stop lamp with integrated cargo lamp, removable locking
tailgate, tailgate rail cap, and steel wheels.
The Tundra V8 Regular Cab sports chrome body side molding
inserts, grille, and front and rear bumpers. The outside
door handles are color-keyed, and each vehicle is fitted
with styled steel wheels and chrome wheel arch moldings.
Front and rear mudguards are standard as well.
Next, the Tundra Access Cab SR5 highlights bed and tailgate
rail caps, four doors, and a six-foot-three-inch bed.
. Finally, the Tundra V8 Access Cab Limited adds color-keyed
fender flares with integrated mudguards, front bumper and
body side moldings, power color-keyed dual outside mirrors,
and front fog lights.
Performance
Under the hood of the Tundra Pickup Truck is
a standard 3.4-litre, DOHC, 24-valve six-cylinder engine
with an output of 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque.
The V8 models check in with a 4.7-litre, DOHC, 32-valve
I-Force eight-cylinder engine that cranks out 245 horsepower
and 315 lb-ft of torque. Four-wheel drive models boast the
benefits of increased power and control to all four wheels
for negotiating challenging terrain and road conditions.
Safety and Security
The Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck is equipped with
standard safety features such as a driver air bag, passenger
air bag with cut-off switch, height-adjustable head restraints,
and three-point seatbelts in the front. The Tundra V8 Access
Cab Limited adds ABS brakes, daytime running lights, front
fog lights, and a security system with remote keyless entry.
