Visit BMW for more information on the BMW M Roadster.

Featuring a dazzling and bold design, the amazing new 2002 BMW M Roadster is presented to us this year with incredible handling capabilities, terrific power, and a lengthy list of luxuries that will spoil you rotten. The gracious and inviting interior is brimming with comforts and conveniences.

Available Models
This year, the BMW Roadster is available in one outstanding model that is jam-packed with amenities, safety measures, and world-class performance. You may also choose from a variety of options to suit.

Interior Features
The BMW M Roadster overflows with both sensible and luxurious features ranging from an anti-theft Harman Kardon premium AM/FM stereo with CD player and nine powerful speakers, to genuine leather seating and interior details, and four-way power/two-way manual M design sport seats. The front seats are heated to keep you toasty warm when the weather turns nasty, and each vehicle is equipped with air conditioning for those hot summer days.

The impressive list of luxuries in the M Roadster continues with standards like power windows, power door locks, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, genuine leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, console valet, and a handy trunk-mounted tool kit.

Exterior Features
Of course, when the weather gets hot you can activate the power lined softtop to let in the fresh breeze and sunshine. For terrific curb appeal, the dashing BMW M Roadster sports seventeen-inch cast alloy wheels with performance tires, front spoiler, ground effects, and side skirts.

Also in the package are wrap-around body-colored bumpers, halogen free-form low/high beam head lights, heated dual power outside mirrors, heated windshield washer jets, and four polished stainless-steel exhaust tips. A body-colored lightweight hardtop is available as an option.

Performance
The M Roadster not only packs a lot of luxury, but its performance is simply stellar with a 3.2-litre, dual overhead cam, 24-valve inline six-cylinder engine with double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing. Every vehicle is engineered with six individual throttles, distibutorless electronic ignition system, and cylinder-specific knock control. The standard transmission is a quick-shifting five speed manual with direct 1:1 fifth gear.

Safety and Security
Each BMW M Roadster is equipped with safety standards such as all-season traction control with limited slip differential, dynamic stability control, and four-wheel ABS brakes. Further measures include a two-stage driver air bag, two-stage passenger air bag, front side impact air bags, central locking system, child seat automatic safety belt locking device, and coded driveaway protection. Impact sensors automatically turn on hazard lights and interior lights, and unlock doors in the event of a crash. Every M Coupe also comes with lifetime BMW Roadside Assistance.
