Visit BMW for more information on the BMW M Coupe.

With alluring lines and close attention to detail, the stunning new 2002 BMW M Coupe is ready to hit the open roads with phenomenal power, tremendous handling, and a heavy dose of luxuries. The spacious interior is absolutely packed with comforts and conveniences, and passengers are treated to a quiet ride. Unless you've got the audio system cranked up!

Available Models
For 2002, BMW offers up just the one single M Coupe model, but it's so loaded with amenities, safety standards, and top-notch performance specifications that you need not look any further. Several options are available to upgrade the base package even further.

Interior Features
The BMW M Coupe brims with practical and luxurious items, including an anti-theft Harman Kardon premium AM/FM stereo with CD player and nine powerful speakers, leather upholstery and interior details, and four-way power/two-way manual M design sport seats. The front seats are heated, and each vehicle is equipped with air conditioning.

Continuing on with the lengthy list of luxuries, the M Coupe packs power windows, power door locks, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, console valet, and a trunk-mounted tool kit.

Exterior Features
The graceful and sleek exterior of the BMW M Coupe is highlighted by seventeen-inch cast alloy wheels with performance tires, front spoiler, ground effects, and side skirts. The bold and sporty appearance is enhanced further with wrap-around body-colored bumpers, halogen free-form low/high beam head lights, heated dual power outside mirrors, and four polished stainless-steel exhaust tips. The windshield washer fluid jets are conveniently heated to function normally in cold weather.

Performance
Boasting some pretty serious performance specifications, the M Coupe sizzles with a 3.2-litre, dual overhead cam, 24-valve inline six-cylinder engine with double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing. Each vehicle is equipped with six individual throttles, distibutorless electronic ignition system, and cylinder-specific knock control. The standard transmission is five speed manual with direct 1:1 fifth gear.

Safety and Security
Every BMW M Coupe features all-season traction control with limited slip differential, dynamic stability control, and high-performance four-wheel ABS brakes. Other standard safety measures include driver air bag, passenger air bag, side impact air bags, child seat automatic safety belt locking device, central locking system, and coded driveaway protection. Crash sensors deploy hazard lights and interior lights, and unlock doors in the event of an accident. Also, every M Coupe comes with lifetime BMW Roadside Assistance.
