The exquisite 2002 Cadillac Seville Sedan is
available this year in two models - Seville SLS Sedan and
Seville STS Sedan. There are slight differences in the areas
of luxury and performance between the two. There are also
four packages offered - SLS Luxury Package, SLS Premium
Luxury Package, STS Luxury Package, and STS Premium Luxury
Package.
Interior Features
The spacious and comfortable interior of the
2002 Cadillac Seville SLS Sedan is augmented with a premium
anti-theft AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player and
eight Bose speakers. Also included on the list of notable
features are power door locks, power windows, cruise control,
and a dual-zone electronic climate control with individual
settings for driver, front, and rear compartments.
The 2002 Cadillac Seville SLS Sedan also sports an array
of programmable features, heated front and rear seats, four-way
front seat lumbar support, supple genuine leather upholstery,
ten-way power front seats, and a leather-wrapped tilt steering
wheel with fingertip controls for audio and climate.
Adding to the features of the first model, the Seville
STS Sedan comes with a Bose 4.0 Music System and a Memory
Package for a fourteen-way power driver's seat, driver's
seat exit seating position, outside mirrors, climate control
settings, and radio station presets for two drivers.
Exterior Features
Seville SLS Sedan is equipped with illuminated
entry, wiper activated head lights, electrochromic heated
power dual outside mirrors with auto-dimming feature, sixteen-inch
seven-spoke cast aluminum wheels, and Twilight Sentinel
head lights. The Seville STS Sedan makes the key addition
of sixteen-inch seven-spoke cast aluminum wheels with performance-rated
tires.
Performance
In the performance arena, the 2002 Cadillac Seville
SLS Sedan shines with a 4.6-litre Northstar engine that
whips out 275 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The standard
transmission is a four-speed automatic with overdrive and
electronic shift control. Each vehicle features front-wheel
drive, all-speed traction control, lelctronic rear-level
control system, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, and the
StabiliTrak computer-controlled stability enhancement system.
The Seville STS Sedan model boasts a 4.6-litre Northstar
engine that produces 300 horsepower and and 295 lb-ft of
torque and highlights a continuously variable road-sensing
suspension 2.0 -- a computer-controlled active suspension
system with adjustable, computer-controlled shock absorbers.
Safety and Security
Both of the Seville Sedan models feature a driver
air bag, passenger air bag, side impact air bags, central
locking, child safety locks, one year OnStar Luxury &
Leisure service, three-point seatbelts, PassKey II theft
deterrent system, Rainsense wipers, and Ultrasonic Rear
Parking Assist.
